The Christmas Show with Nimmy Bear
The Channel 27 Christmas Show is our longest running series on Channel 27. The programme first aired back in the early nineties and has been on the air every December ever since.
Fronted by broadcaster heavyweight - and our very own Mr Christmas - Nimmy Bear, we bring you a Christmas-themed magazine show for two hours every Friday night. Ably assisted by CG and Leo Andrews, the show brings you the best mix of traditional Christmas songs and carols together with a variety of features. What a way to start the weekend!
This year, because of the pandemic, we've got some new features. In Picks from the Flicks, Leo Andrews takes a look at the best films available to watch at home on the major streaming services. A weekly talking point gives you the chance to share your thoughts and views about a Christmas-related topic. LK offers something for the kids in his weekly crafting and culinary features and we're bringing you Christmas news live from the News Centre with a round-up of current Christmas-related news stories.
Coming up this week
Show 1 - LK and Nimmy venture to South London to explore a Christmas market. Leo brings you the latest Christmas new and his recent Picks from the Flicks, including what's new on Paramount+, Cliff Richard brings us our album of the week and we welcome the return of the Advent Calendar Challenge and Kids Corner
Show 2 - CG heads to a Christmas illumination event, Leo's back at the movies to tell us about Violent Night, LK is the kitchen and more...
